“What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” - 2 Timothy 2:2

 

The Bible, being our only infallible rule of faith, gives clear qualifications for leadership in the Church. One of the qualifications for Elders found in Titus 1 and 1 Timothy 3 is that they be men. The church is to be led by faithful men. Men who love and lead their households well. Men who are holy. Men above reproach and of good reputation.

Our Elders

  • Daniel Spratt

    Ruling Elder

    Daniel Spratt is an Army brat who has lived everywhere and landed in Leavenworth by God’s providence. He is the husband of Sarah, father of four girls, Lydia, Eliana, Adelaide, and Heidi, one son, Elijah, and one son, Josiah, who worships in glory at the Throne of the King. He works with his hands and loves to ride motorcycles and shoot guns. He is a homeschooling father with a shepherd’s heart and a love for Christ, His Church, Christian Education, and the spread of the Gospel. He was the 2nd Club Member of Cross Politic and has faithfully labored to plant Christ Church Leavenworth and to see Leavenworth become the first city in Kansas to acknowledge Jesus Christ as King.

  • KJ Behler

    Ruling Elder

    KJ Behler is married to his wife Laura Behler and God has blessed them with five children, Talitha, Gloria, Miriam, Micaiah, and one son in glory, Zebulun. KJ is a software developer by day and a Classical Christian Education aficionado by night. KJ and his family were founding members of Christ Church Leavenworth.

  • Arnie Abens

    Elder Pro-Tem (Christ Church Twin Cities)

    Arnie Abens grew up in a cornfield in Illinois, catechized and trained by Godly parents, pastors, and teachers. Arnie enjoys raising cattle, collecting chicken eggs, and golfing. Most of all he enjoys spending time with his family, especially his wife of 34 years, Jennifer. They have four children, three children in-law, and four grandchildren. Most Saturdays you will find them all enjoying a Sabbath feast together!

  • Daniel Ralph

    Elder Pro-Tem (Christ Church Twin Cities)

    Daniel Ralph is married to Susan, they have five children, Noah, Rebekah, Bethany, Keziah and Jonah. Daniel Has been in Pastoral ministry for twenty-four years, serving in Cornwall, the northwest of England and Scotland before moving to Christ Church Twin Cities in Minnesota.

We were founded in 2020 as a mission church of Christ Church Twin Cities, in Excelsior, MN.

We were particularized as full members of the Tyndale Presbytery in 2023.
